COVID-19 Protocols

The HSH team takes all necessary safeguards, in accordance with the CDC guidelines, to protect you, and each other, from possible Coronavirus contamination. We do the following to keep everyone safe:

  • Get a home temperature check before going into a client’s home.
  • Upon arrival at a senior community, check in at the front desk for a temperature check.
  • Always wear a mask during a job and while in public.
  • Wash/sanitize our hands before handling our clients’ belongings, periodically throughout the job, and before we leave the client’s home.
  • Disinfect surfaces we have touched such as doorknobs, handles, light switches, etc.

If a HSH team member shows symptoms or becomes sick, a procedure is in place to minimize exposure to our clients and the rest of the team.

  • Any team member with a fever above 99.5 is required to stay home and asked to get a Coronavirus test. That person is not allowed to return to work until the fever is below 99.5 for at least 24 hours.
  • Any team member who feels ill, has unexplained coughing or sore throat is sent home until the symptoms subside.
  • Any team member who has been near a confirmed COVID case, is requested to be tested. If positive, that person is quarantined and can not return to work for 14 days.
